Momma thought it was time...

So I went to the Chicken Shack to make sure the chickens had food/water, collect eggs when I found Momma with her Nov. chickies out in the chicken run... guess she thought it was time to bring them out of the shack. I stayed out there and watched them for a little while, everything seems to be going find and the other chickens arent paying that much attention to them. They did get picked on alittle but Momma protected them.

The guineas do try to pick on them... mean ol guineas!

I Like this one

Big Daddy and Chicken Noodle

Two of our Sept. Chickies...

I've only collected 8 eggs so far today...
but when I left the shack some of the girls were sitting in the nest boxes... hopefully laying us an egg

Chicken Noodle and some of his girls still sleep outside the coop, inside the chicken run?!
I dont know if they will ever roost in the coop...

This ones looking alittle grumpy, lol

Sept. Chickies snuggling in for the night
Momma left them on their own at night... she went to the roost area.
They still hang out with her during the day.

Nov. Chickies * 2 weeks*

Our Nov. chickies are already 2 weeks old and doing great...
I brought them in yesterday to play with and take pics. of them :)

Notice how all 4 have striped wings...
I really think our OEGB Sally Sue is their Daddy. What do you think?

The Daddy... Sally Sue

I think this one is RIR/OEGB mix

One of our RIR's is its Momma

I think this one is Golden Sebright bantam/ OEGB mix

Goldie is this ones Momma

Easter Egg/ OEGB mix

and Cinnamon or Sugar are these 2 chickies Mommas...

Easter Egger/ OEGB mix

I really wonder what they are going to look like in the months to come...
will they be little like a bantam?
