Chicken Visit...

My sister/brother in law and their 2 kids got 20something chickies from my June Bator Hatch this year and I got to go visit them yesterday. They have turned out to be great chicken owners and the chicks have turned out to be beautiful chickens... They are getting around 12 eggs a day (must be nice, I'm lucky if I get 1 - 3 eggs a day right now, lol)

I really love their mean little bantam. Hes so beautiful.

Smart rooster up there in that tree... peckin at the sunflower head for all the other chickens, lol. We grew and dried big sunflowers for the chickens/birds.

OOooo No! Not Again...

Look what showed up on our front porch Friday...

This is the second kitten in the past few months to show up on our porches! Thats just not right or fair. We already had Piper and then took in Ally Cat after she showed up on our back porch, we can not take this one in too.

Look how cute he is.

I tried not to look at him or pet him or feed him but it was too hard... I gave in.
I'm tryin to find a good home for him... to be continued.

My little piggy is growin...
She was out hangin in her pig pen for alittle while yesterday.

I'm sittin here watchin Porkchop walk around the family room trying to find something to eat, I started her on piggy pellets yesterday and shes not to happy about that, lol. I gotta give her some tough love today, guess when she gets really hungry she will eat them. Shes gotta learn to like her piggy food. I have to say since I started her on it yesterday mornin shes been way more active, I think feedin her milk & bread was keeping her lazy and sedated. Glad to see her up and movin! She just walked over to her bed area and is all snuggled up beside her stuffed piggy going to sleep... so cute.

Guess I'd better go workout and clean house before she wakes up, lol
