Alittle Buck Playin........

I took a bunch of pics of Ringo & Peanut playin in the duck pen... I had them tied up out in the main yard free ranging but when honey started cutting the grass they got scared and wanted to go back to their pen, big chickens, lol.  So I just let them hang out in the bigger duck pen to they had lots of room to play and weeds to munch on... they really do love each other.

and they really are sweet boys...
I love them.

Check out this duck...

After dinner this evening my boys told me to come look at this duck they found in our yard... they knew it wasnt on of our ducks.  When I saw it I figured it was wild... my oldest boy went out & caught it so we could get a better look.  We're tryin to figure out what breed (s) it is.  Looks to have Mallard in it and ?

What do you think it is?

Look at that puffy head thing, lol

Kids Down On The Farm

Farm Animals & kids are so cute to watch...
I love when lil kids come down to enjoy Our Little Farm.

I love when I have new chickies hatch for them to play with.

The duck family really enjoyed their special treat of bread, I've gotten this group of ducklings pretty friendly, gonna be kinda sad when I sell them.  I've got one young drake who lets me pet & pick him up, thinkin I might just have to keep him.

The goats also loved their special treat of bread yesterday, my cousins 3 boys loved the goats they loved running around tryin to catch the goat kids, lol.  They played with all the farm kitties, the chickies, played down in the barnyard on the fort.  They ran & played outside all day in the wonderful country air.

Well... maybe we'll just play for a minute

Ok, enough playtime... back to sleepin now

"First of the Month" Tulip, Star & 2012 Kids

1st of the month and its time to link up with
Subject: My Kinder Dairy Doe, Tulip

Tulips daughter Cocoa will be 4 months old on May 8.
Then Stars son Boots (wether) will be 4 months old on May 12.

Heres Tulip & Star with their almost 4 month old kids, everyone is doin great, growing good... speaking of growing I need to trim hooves again (all 24... The Sweet Nasty Boys Too).  I'm still locking the kids up at night and milkin their mommas in the morning.  The kids still nurse on their mommas from time to time... I dont when I dont lock the kids up at night I dont get that much milk in the mornings... Stars lil boy will suck her dry, I'll get a few tiny squirts out of her.  Tulips daughter is not a pig like Stars son so I will get about a pint from her.  This morning I got almost a quart of milk... I guess the rainy days and the girls goin in & out of heat is messing up their milk production.  I have to say I'm ready to breed the girls again... but the plan is to wait til Dec. or close to it.  Alrighty... here some pics I took today when I let Tulip, Star, Cocoa & Boots out to free range in the main yard.

See ya next month :)
