Ringo and Silo at my cousins

My cousin and her husband asked if they could borrow a few goats to eat down a fenced off area in the yard, I told them they could borrow my bucks Ringo and Silo, we'd just have to find a way to get them to their place, no way I'm sticking "The Nasty Boys" in the backseat of my car.  Thanks to a good friend they got hauled over to my cousins Saturday evening. They have lots of yummy green stuff to munch down. When we put them in the area, I walked in to snap pictures, Ringo would not leave my side and followed me all over the place, I couldnt snap any good pictures, I had to step outside the fence to snap these...

This buck really loves me and hes such a sweet, sweet boy.

See ya in a few weeks

Meet Fancy

Brian and I went to my friend Sarah's place yesterday and picked up my doeling, Fancy.  I think shes super cute and sweet.  You can read about the day she was born here on Sarah's blog, Life With the Goodwife: They're Here, They're Here. When we got home I put here in with the girls and their kids, she fit right in... she does keep crying out for her Momma (Star), brother and sister... it will take her a few days to really settle in.

Rubies 2015 Kidding

Ruby gave birth this morning to a 7 lb. doeling, Ruby was bred to an Alpine Buck.  I am so thankful she just started labor as I went out at 5:30am to do barnyard chores, I had to help her and pull this big girl out with each contraction Ruby would have, first time I've done this, alittle scary but I knew it was something that had to be done, I dont think she could of had her on her own. I prayed the whole time.

I need to think of a name for this cutie

Giving birth to a 7 lb. baby is hard work

Gave the herd more free range area

We've fenced off an area for the goats to free range in alittle every day, I just love watching them.  Cocoa's kids will be 1 month old on the 7th. I've decided to keep Cocoa's doeling, now I need to think of a cute name for her. Chloes kids will be 2 months old on the 19. I am waiting for Ruby girl to kid, shes due around the 8th. Ruby was bred to my friends Alpine buck.
