I Smell Popcorn!

Yesterday I made me some popcorn & shared some with piggy...

Ok, I really thought she was gonna jump up on the deck & take the bowl of popcorn away from me! lol

She had some friends that helped her eat it, lol

A Spring Fever Kinda Day...

At 1:00 it was 65 degrees... Ooo its so nice & I've enjoyed every minute of it, I've hung outside alot today. Walked the goat girls over to my neighbors pasture, took pics of his 2 beautiful cows, played & snuggled with Ringo... then checked on the chickens, ducks & guineas & OOo yeah I let piggy out for some exercise time.

...Spring Fever Day...

Princess Porkchop... My Brat Piggy.

I busted her in the hay tent yesterday mornin when I went out to feed... See what she does to the straw & hay. She munches what she wants & then sometimes she'll snuggle under it & take a piggy nap.

Then she has to walk around & find all the food to gobble up. I let her walk the yard for a bit, then got her back in her pen. I "think" I rigged it so she cant get out for awhile.

Ringo... 3 weeks.

As of yesterday...
My lil Ringo is doin so great, I'm pretty proud of him & myself ;)

He weighs 17 lbs. now...

Yippee... Its time for breakfast.

* All the goat girls are being pretty nice to Ringo now a days & that makes me happy. Ellie Mae even plays with him. I'm so happy hes doin so good down in the barnyard with the other goats & animals. Now Princess Porkchop HATES him... honestly I think shes jealous of him, shes still in her own pen (thats her home now) but of course she breaks out from time to time (its not piggy proof, we have to work on that this spring/summer) & if she sees Ringo she goes after him, he knows to run away from her... I dont know if shes wants to bite or eat him! Scares me. Bad Piggy.

1st chickies of the year...

Remember these 7 eggs I put in the bator earlier this month, they started hatching right on time, Jan. 22/23...

5/7 eggs hatched. The chickies are so cute. They are livin in a wooden box brooder in my bathroom with their heat lamp.

Ringo learnin to be a goat, lol

... Well last night was almost Ringos 1st night in the goat barn. I went out to check on him before I went to bed last night & the lil rascal got out from his pen (I need to fix that today) & came walkin out of the goat barn... I didnt want to take the chance of him not goin back in, then stayin out in the cold all night. Soooo I brought him back in & he slept in his box. Maybe tonight will be his 1st night, lol

Hes been out in his lil pen in the goat barn all day. I went out to feed & spend time with him, let him explore the barnyard & animals. Hes doin good. When I came back in the house I put Ringo back in his pen I'm hoping he will learn that is his nice ,warm ,safe place.

* Ringo is 16 days old today, hes doin great... hes such a wonderful lil buckling. I love him. I've been takin him to the barn to spend time in his pen for a few hours each day for him to get use to it & for me to get use to not having him in the house. I took him to the vet this mornin & got him disbudded... not pretty or nice & really stinks but its something that needed to be done. I not only watched the vet do it but I also helped with holding Ringo down... that was kinda hard for me but I wanted the experience... about 2 hours later Ringo was his normal bouncy self.

Tulip, Star & Ringo...

I had Ringo out yesterday burnin up some of his baby goat energy, then I decided since it was a nice sunny day I'd let Tulip & Star out & walk em over to the neighbors pasture...

They have to stop & nibble every where
