Ringo makes a great babysitter

Ringo is such a good, sweet buck...
He dont care one bit about the kids climbing, jumping, bouncing, sliding on him.
Then when they are done playing they just snuggle beside him and sleep.

 Simply Sweet!

Ringo is back home

...Ringo...

My main buck came back home today, hes been at my friends farm for the past 3 months "Dating" her girls... he kinda likes Ruby right now and she kinda likes him, its gotta be his wonderful man buck smell, they've been flirting through the fence but Ruby is not here to "Date" Ringo, she is here to "Date" Silo. So I've moved Ringo far, far way from Ruby, hes hangin out with Tulip, Star & Cocoa.

Ringo also brought a friend home with him...
I'll talk about that tomorrow

Ringo & Peanut

Well I was gonna talk about Tulip tonight but changed my mind...
wanted to talk about Ringo & Peanut

My sweet boys will be 2 & 4 months old the beginning of May.  I still have them with the girls but after the girls give birth I know I will need to get the boys out so they dont try anything with any of the young Doelings. So I already have a huge run/pen with housing that I can move them to, only problem they have to share it with some hens, roosters, ducks, teenage chicks for awhile ( I plan on selling all but my adult ducks, 2 hens & 1 rooster).  I have been for a few days letting the boys get use to being in the pen for a few hours during the day, they are doin pretty good.  I let them out to free range in the yard when I go out to feed/water in the evenings, then I put them back in the barnyard with the girls.

Poor Peanut hit his buds so I had to put some disinfectant spray on them... he looks pretty funny.

He loves my cup

Ok... I plan on talkin about Tulip tomorrow ;)

Peanut... meets Ringo

I walked Peanut over Wed. to hang out with me for the day... as we were walkin the yard I decided he needed to meet Ringo, I wanted to see how they would be... They we're wonderful, not fightin but that might be cause they are close in age or it could just be the Nubian way. I know my neighbors Nubians are very sweet & nice to people & other goats.

(this weekend he will be 2 weeks old)

I fed him a bottle... & he eats off his Maaamaa & Aunt goats

Hes learnin to follow me, we are bondin really good

Exploring the swing & the cat

Just hangin out & followin me around the yard...

They are so cute

Ringo taught Peanut to climb the deck steps

& try to come in the house, lol

then to climb back down...

Playtime is alot of work... we had to take a break & enjoy the day

Heres the rest of the pics: Peanut... Meets The Herd

(*really Tulip (head goat) was the only one being mean to Peanut. Later in the evening I took Peanut back to his Maaamaa goat for the night, he was happy to see his family & when I left he was drinkin off his Maamaa )
