My goat herd and alittle lovin ;)

Crazy, Exciting Mornin goin on Our Little Farm today... I noticed while I was milkin Tulip that she was in heat (Cocoa is too, but shes still too young to breed), anyways Ringo and Tulip had a "Date Day" and Peanut was not too happy, while Ringo was gettin his lovin on, all poor Peanut got was some nasty dry hay to munch on, lol. I watched Ringo and Tulip for awhile to see how the date was gonna go and have to say it went good. Seen Ringo mate Tulip a few times, (she did the hutch back thing, very good mate sign), I was also happy to see her not running away from Ringo... SHE LOVED HIM TODAY, lol. So we should have MORE cute babies around March 23, 2013. Yeehawww

Munching on his hay

Star and Boots were just happy to get all the hay to themselves this morning, lol

A "Me Time" Kinda Monday...

First I want to say I did not even get on my computer til 2:30pm today... thats a big deal for me, lol.  Normally thats the 3rd thing I do after I jump out of bed... but not today, after I dropped my daughter off at work (8am) I decided to stay off my computer and just enjoy the day outside with my animals, the sunshine and a crochet project... I must say it was lovely, relaxing... and just what I needed.

Coffee & Crochet = Happy Girl ;)

One of the many crochet projects I'm workin on... this baby blanket needs to be done by Friday, I started it Sunday night bout 9:30pm.  My hook has been flyin all day.

Beautiful fall day

My Lazy Daisy has the right idea... soakin up the sun

Momma duck brings her 8 ducklings out to the main yard to free range,
I just love watching them

These 2 think my fingers are food, lol

Star out free ranging in main yard...

 Peanut

I put Tulip & Ringo together for a bit just to see if any love was in the air...
there wasnt, lol

Ringo... wishing there was love in the air, lol

Nope the girls just wanted to munch the tasty green grass and leaves...
(I should know this month if Star got bred last month)

So he decided to reach for the leaves instead of worryin about the girls, lol

I put alittle water in that container lid for the baby ducklings...
they played in it all day

 The Silkie Family

Scarlet and her 2 sons... they still follow their momma all around the farm

Took a few pics of momma hen & some of her older chickies...

The kids Cocoa and Boots down in the barnyard...
5 months old now

Tulip & Star loving the extra freedom away from their kids...

Cocoa wanting out to free range with her momma Tulip

Boots wanting out to free ranging with his momma Star

So I gave in and let the kids out to munch with their mommas...
I'm such a sucker

 They so love each other

 Happy Goats :)

My 2 Muscovy Hens are lil hatching machines...
they've both hatched out 2 clutches each this year.

Look at the sweet treat I found under the Chicken Shack this mornin... I didnt think these eggs were ever gonna hatch, I've been takin peeks under the coop for weeks. She hatched 8 out of 8 eggs... I seen she hatched out a all yellow one (gonna be white when it grows up) I really hope its a girl.

I have a friend whos birthday is tomorrow but its also 1 year go her momma passed away... she doesnt want to celebrate her b-day tomorrow so I think today is a perfect day to celebrate... Happy Birthday Angela... these ducklings are dedicated to you and your momma. New Life ♥
