This is the scene I found one evening last week when I was going out the back door for feedin time... guess I was runnin late, lol (they know I come out the back door). I just started laughing when I saw them! I also took pics. of Billy Bob and Lee Roy.

When I went out to check on the chickens/ducks last night I took my camera because for the past few nights Goldies chick has been sleepin under mean ol Sally Sue on the roost area and I wanted to get a pic. its so sweet but instead I found this little scene goin on, lol

Looks like chick is sayin... Mom/Dad can I sleep with ya'll ?
Parents are sayin... Come on in.

Poor Cleo, sleepin on the roost area all by herself. Usually Sally Sue sleeps up there with her and Goldie does too when shes not being a Momma. Storms where rollin in for the night so maybe Sally Sue knew and wanted to stay dry?

Hangin Out On The Back Porch Together, lol

I was walkin out to visit the chickens the other evening and seen these two sittin together, had to take pics and share. I thought it was so cute. Two bantam mutts I hatched out over the summer, turnin into beautiful roosters.

The past few days with Porkchop...

I have to say... Porkchop sure did get lucky when she came into our family, lol. I know shes just a pig and I know people will think we are crazy but we love her so much!

Poor Cinnamon & Sugar... Molting

Am I still beautiful...

Actually alot of my girls are molting right now and I've had a huge drop in my egg supply... some days I'm only gettin 3, 5 maybe 8 eggs out of 20something hens. I've got about 9-12 pullets that should start layin soon, so that will help with the egg supply. I had to email my regular egg customers today lettin them know I dont have any eggs to sell right now... be glad when this molting thing is done!
