Well I was gonna talk about Tulip tonight but changed my mind... 

wanted to talk about Ringo & Peanut

 My sweet boys will be 2 & 4 months old the beginning of May.  I still have them with the girls but after the girls give birth I know I will need to get the boys out so they dont try anything with any of the young Doelings. So I already have a huge run/pen with housing that I can move them to, only problem they have to share it with some hens, roosters, ducks, teenage chicks for awhile ( I plan on selling all but my adult ducks, 2 hens & 1 rooster).  I have been for a few days letting the boys get use to being in the pen for a few hours during the day, they are doin pretty good.  I let them out to free range in the yard when I go out to feed/water in the evenings, then I put them back in the barnyard with the girls.  

 Poor Peanut hit his buds so I had to put some disinfectant spray on them... he looks pretty funny.

Farm News

Ya might wanna sit down for this. Here it goes... I sold Annabel & Ellie Mae today, sold em together to the farm friend I got em from almost a year ago, so they aint that far away from me, I've been fightin with this decision for along time now & there are a few reasons for it... In my lil goat herd I want dairy goats, goats with no horns & then with The Kinder Girls due in the next 2 weeks, I'm prayin for lots of doelings so I can keep 1 or 2. I know Annabel & Ellie Mae went back to a good home with very sweet owners.

Now lets talk about Star... no babies yet, I'm really startin to think I was right with the 1st due date... May 12, lol. Shoot I was hoping she was due now, but May 12 aint that far away.

Also as of yesterday Tulip has 1 week to go before she kids.

Update on Star... Day 147

Well as most of you know from yesterdays post Star and alittle goo could go into labor anytime... These pics I took yesterday & last night, no babies yet but yesterday was day 147. Instead of pacing the floors waitin for paint to dry... I mean Star to go into real labor & have her kids, I went about my day doin chores, cleanin house, laundry, dishes then I decided since it was such a beautiful mornin/afternoon I'd let the girls out into the main yard to free range while I sat out in the shade & did alittle crochet.  The rest of the herd was in the pasture.

Last night I went ahead & put Star in the kiddin stall just incase anything happened during the night... this is when I wish I had a baby monitor, need to get one.

I've never been 100% sure of Stars due date.  I've been guessin somewhere around 5 12 12.  The mornin when I went out to feed/water the barnyard I check Tulip & Stars hoohaaaas like I do every mornin so I know sorta whats goin on & this mornin I noticed alittle goo startin to come out of Star.  I ran back to the house to get my camera to take pics & share with ya'll.  Take a look & tell me whatcha think... 

Babies soon?

Well its either her plug startin or amniotic fluid. Time will tell.  I'll be check on her throughout the day. Her due date is May 12
