Naughty Annabel Is A Momma

 Remember Sweet Naughty Annabel who at one point had to wear "The Horns of Shame" while she lived on my lil farm... also remember I sold her and Ellie Mae last April, if not heres the post... Farm News anyways Mrs. Annabel is a momma for the 1st time... she delivered 3 healthy, beautiful doelings on 1/10/13 and I went to see  love on them tonight with my daughter.  I was in baby goat heaven and now am more exited for Star and Tulip to have their babies.. hurry up February and March I need some baby goats to love on. Heres a few pics we took to share...

Come spend the evening with me...

Lately I've been lettin the herd out of the barnyard in the evenings to graze in the main yard... I do this so I can sit, relax & watch them & so I can feed the other animals without the goats eatin all the food! So far its workin great ;)

Yep, Hes Spoiled!

Just look at my sweet Ringo... I fed him his bottle then he decided he needed to get up in my lap for some much needed snuggle time . Its been a very busy weekend so I really havent had much time to hang with the animals... run out in the mornings do my barnyard chores & run out when I got home at night. I spent about 30 mins out there with him & the girls.

... Well last night was almost Ringos 1st night in the goat barn. I went out to check on him before I went to bed last night & the lil rascal got out from his pen (I need to fix that today) & came walkin out of the goat barn... I didnt want to take the chance of him not goin back in, then stayin out in the cold all night. Soooo I brought him back in & he slept in his box. Maybe tonight will be his 1st night, lol

Hes been out in his lil pen in the goat barn all day. I went out to feed & spend time with him, let him explore the barnyard & animals. Hes doin good. When I came back in the house I put Ringo back in his pen I'm hoping he will learn that is his nice ,warm ,safe place.

Our Little Goat Barn

Update on my new goats...

Tomorrow night will make a week since we brought Tulip, Star & kids here... I really think they like it their new home. They get along pretty good with everyone, they are gettin more use to Annabel & Ellie Mae (Tulip & Star like to chase & bump them). They are scared of Porkchop still, they run from her, lol. I havent got to start milkin yet, Brian has to build me a milkin stand. I'm also tryin to sell the 2 kids... it makes me alittle sad because they are so cute & they are startin to get use to me, I get to pet them here & there. But I know I can breed next year & have more babies... & I'm sure I'll keep one or two. I'm also sellin some of my hens, mostly bantam, extra roosters & all 7 ducks from the may hatch. I'm tryin to make the money back from buyin the goats, that was the deal I made with Brian :)
