Ruby gave birth this morning to a 7 lb. doeling, Ruby was bred to an Alpine Buck. I am so thankful she just started labor as I went out at 5:30am to do barnyard chores, I had to help her and pull this big girl out with each contraction Ruby would have, first time I've done this, alittle scary but I knew it was something that had to be done, I dont think she could of had her on her own. I prayed the whole time.
I need to think of a name for this cutie

ReplyDeleteThank you. Now kidding season is over on my lil farm. I was surprised to see she only delivered one kid, this is her second freshening and she delivered two her first time. Weird. Ruby is a wonderful mom. I started milking her out on one side this morning.
