So this looks like a pretty good harvest, doesnt it?!?! It is BUT we are not harvesting nearly as much as we did last year, that stinks!!! I am very grateful for what we are getting to harvest this year its just I was planning on doing ALOT of canning/freezing, our gardens are what we eat on during the winter. Between the stinking weeds taking the gardens over, not much rain and it being so hot this years garden season really sucks and it makes me mad/sad... all the money, time, hard work and sweat we put into it... dont know whats going happen with your crop from year to year, guess thats the price you pay being a farmer. Know what... we,ll do it all again next year, lol.

Looks like a good harvest to me! I know what you mean about weeds, heat, and drought! I'm struggling to stay interested in my garden. I really want to give up most days!

ReplyDeleteI'm struggling in the garden department, too. Deer are eating it. Completely sad about this. Ironically, my step-daughter was reading about The Fall (from the Bible) a couple of weeks ago and understood why we had been having so much trouble. Good life lesson, I guess. Enjoy what you get...it looks yummy despite the quantity (you definitely have much more than we have been able to get...a total of 5 yellow pear tomatoes...it's that sad over here...)
