Spent the day doin things around the house... picked the garden real good this morning, I'll be sharing veggies with family/friends.  My honey cut the grass down in the barnyard and I do believe the animals really like that, it was really gettin tall. This evening everyone was walking around find things to eat.

 Veggie Dinner... Beets from this mornings garden pickin, sauteed beet & collard greens in olive oil w/onions, garlic, leftover oven roasted green beans/summer squash/zucchini/snow peas w/ a sprinkle of Parmesan 

Ended the day with a small bowl of Goat Milk Ice Cream 

w/melted peanut butter and a sprinkle of monster tail mix... yum

Puttin Flicka's Saddle On Her...

 I've been learning how to saddle up Miss. Flicka... I've never saddled a horse before last Sunday. I need more lessons, I forget easy and it takes me a few tries before it clicks. 

 I bring her out, brush her, pick her hooves...

 Let her sniff her blanket and rub it on her to get her use to it...

 Tell her shes a good girl...

 Go get her saddle...

 Let her sniff it...

 Put it on her back...

 Tell her shes a good girl...

 Then try to remember how to strap it all on her...

 While shes thinkin... Come On Lady!

 I did pretty good tonight... 

But I knew I didnt tie the cinch strap right, so I watched a youtube video real fast and done it right.

I didnt ride her cause I still need to fit her bridle to her face, its too big...
