Playing with Clue

Yesterday evening I spent time playing in the yard with Clue

The other evening when we rode, I didnt even think about checking her cinch at our last stop and she was sweaty, I asked my husband and our friend stay back so I could run with just Clue, we went a pretty good ways out of their sight, as I was slowing her down and turning I felt my saddle slipping to the right side, I tried to correct it but couldnt, it happened to fast, I knew I was goin down, it was in slow motion, I tried to hold on but the saddle slipped all the way to her right side, my right foot was out but my left foot was alittle stuck, I finally kicked it out as I was goin down... landed on the ground and Clue just stood there... after I stopped laughing I jumped up and hugged her for taking care of me and not taking off with me. Then I jumped up and tried my best to get my saddle fixed before the guys caught up with me! They busted me and we all had a good laugh.

My Horses

After I got home from work today I went about my barnyard chores... feeding baby goats, throwing hay to my Does and Bucks, giving fresh water, collecting eggs and then I took advantage of the beautiful sunshine by spending time with Flicka, Clue and Fiona.

I love spending time with my girls.
I love that they know I truly love them.

These I took on Sunday...
My niece Keyarra and nephew Jacob wanted to hangout with the horses

 I love this

Working Cattle

Sunday was such a beautiful day to ride... we helped a bunch of friends work cattle. We brought them in and sorted the calves from the herd. Then we had to bring in a few more cows from another pasture. I've went and mostly hung back and watched, trying to learn what to do, now I just tell them to tell me what to do.  Sunday was my second time helping and I think Clue & I did really good... I Love It!

Such A Beautiful Place
