Riding in the snow

Its a beautiful winter Kentucky day, the sun is shinning and I just couldnt pass up riding in all the snow.  It was an hour well spent, the girls did great, I think they are enjoying the snow, both would put their head down and push the snow with their noses.

Winter Hay

I bought 95 more bales yesterday... that makes a total of 298 bales since I started buying hay for the winter months. I believe I'm goin into winter with about 350 bales of hay for the horses & goats. I'm sure I'll be buying & putting round bales out too. Some of the load fell off in that yard, I'm so glad it didnt fall off as we were goin down the road.

Milk Jug Winter Workout...

Oooo yeah. Its that time of year again... & I'm not happy about it, lol. Frozen water, carrying milk jugs full of nice warm water out for the barnyarn animals... Maybe one day when I get rich off my Crochet By Jen I'll come up with a better system but until then I try to think of it as a free workout.

So do you do the Milk Jug Winter Workout Too?

I was takin a walk through the backyard a few weeks ago and they decided to go with me. Its so funny to turn around and see a big ol flock of chicken, ducks & guineas followin ya! They know I'm the food lady, lol

...The Bachelors...

Wish I knew someone who needed a nice purtty mutt rooster for their flock, I have 2 that I really like but really dont need and they are too good & pretty to eat.

* All of our snow has melted... yay. Yesterday and today its been around 70 degrees, so nice! I've been hangin alot outside with the barnyard animals, check out Sweet Porkchops cute pictures.
