I was takin a walk through the backyard a few weeks ago and they decided to go with me. Its so funny to turn around and see a big ol flock of chicken, ducks & guineas followin ya! They know I'm the food lady, lol
* All of our snow has melted... yay. Yesterday and today its been around 70 degrees, so nice! I've been hangin alot outside with the barnyard animals, check out Sweet Porkchops cute pictures.

So cute Jennifer!! I just love how the crew follows right behind you all together. It’s a great feeling isn’t it? I bet little porkchop is so happy to have sunny, warm weather. Give her a behind the ear scratch for me :)
ReplyDeleteI love how they follow you around like that! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteWe've had some great weather also...but I know that another cold front is due any day!
What a cute train of critters. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
ReplyDeleteThank You verde farm, tina, texwisgirl & Luckbunny
ReplyDeleteVerde Farm: It is but I do almost trip over them all the time, lol Porkchop is lovin these nice days!
Tina: I'm sure we are gonna get another cold front here too and rain is due. Glad I got out and enjoyed the nice days :)
Your place looks spacious. How much land are you on? I'm envious.
ReplyDeleteHow fun!
ReplyDeleteThank You veggie pak & floweringmama...
ReplyDeleteVeggie PAK: We have just about 3 acres and our house is right in the middle of it... we have the lil bit of woods out back, fire pit area to the right and a area that could be turned into a pond (it fills up when we get alot of rain), nice view in the front & garden, animal area to the left. Love it. We lived on a itty bitty patch of land in a trailer park for 13 1/2 years... so this is heaven on earth to us :)
*think I'm gonna do a post on our land and when we moved here.
Hey girl! I can just see you takin' a stroll with your critters. Such is the good life! When we take a walk down in the back we have the goats followin' us and my poor Ellie girl wants to be right next to me, but Tulip is a dog-hatin' goat and she won't let Ellie walk next to me!
ReplyDeleteHope your weather is good today. It's been great all week and today is another lovely day. I think it's gonna turn off cold again and maybe rain this weekend though.
ps. I hope you do a post about your land and your story!
I love walkin around the yard nature watchin. Thats cute about the goats walkin with ya'll, cute. Its purtty nice here today, just wish the sun would shine... rains comin.
ReplyDeleteI will, gotta dig through my picture albums.
Hello Jennifer!
ReplyDeleteI just stopped over from Amy's at Verde Farm Friends. I love your chickens...I have Buff Orpingtons and Rhode Island Reds and Barred Rock too....LOVE my chickens. I never thought I'd see the day that a chicken would win my heart...that is until I finally got my first ones. I was hooked for life. I hope your weather has warmed up and your chickens are having fun scratching and pecking. Enjoy your day and your weekend!
Maura :)
I love that about chickens, how they are both curious and hoping you will happen to drop some crumbs or something.
ReplyDeleteThat just shows you a happy flock.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stoppin by Maura, Michaele & Becky...
ReplyDeleteMaura: I fell inlove too with my 1st chicks spring of 2009! The weather has been nice, I've been out spending time with the animals.
Michaele: I know, they do hope I will drop something all the time!
Becky: Your right, they are happy :)
Looks like you have a great flock! I hope you can find a home for your roosters!
