The girls are gettin back to layin and I'm so excited, lol I havent collected 16 eggs in one day since last September!!!
Oooo yes, its that time of year again... I've got chickie fever and need to fire up the bator! Gonna fill it up this weekend. A friend is bring some of her bantam eggs to stick in with mine, hummm I gotta try to keep em separated when they hatch, we'll see how this works... I'll keep ya posted.
I have had mine going already and hatched some bantams and quail. I have to get some eggs for standard sized birds as the raccoon ate all of mine before we could trap it.

ReplyDeleteI love hatchin out chickies... it is so fun & cool. I did alot of bator hatches last year.

ReplyDeleteI love doin it both ways... Love watchin the chickies with the momma and then I love the excitement of hatchin em out myself and gettin to play with them from birth :)
ReplyDeletePlus I sell em when I can so I need my bator, dont always have a broody hen. I do hope I have acouple broodies this year but no as many as last year! lol
That's cool that you have a bator, I've wanted one, but The Man puts his foot down.......LOL
