Lucky 1 week old

I've been a bad blogger lately... life is busy so I get on here and share when I can.  My doe Star kidded last Monday (3 31 14), she delivered a live buckling first (my husband named him Lucky)... then she delivered 2 undeveloped babies, they looked to be growing in the same sack, this was the first time I've had this happen with my Does it was very weird.   Anyways Lucky is a spunky, healthy, beautiful buckling and Star is a great maaaaaa.  All my other kids have left my farm and gone to their new homes, all but Chloe (Tulips doeling) and now Lucky... I will be selling him.  I took these pictures of my lil herd out free ranging in the main yard yesterday (my bucks Ringo and Silo free range in the pasture with the horses).  Enjoy...

Better view of the pasture

A big Thank You to my husband and youngest son for working hard the past few I have a better view of the barnyard and the pasture. This makes me smile when I'm stuck inside washing dishes. I just love watching the horses, goats, chicken, guineas, ducks and farm kitties go about their day.

March 1 trail ride at "The Farm"

Today in Kentucky its rainy, gettin colder and they are calling for a winter storm later this evening/tonight... blah, blah, blah I know we ALL are sick of winter and so ready for spring!  I'm so glad and thankful I got to hang out & ride with friends yesterday... there was 7 of us.  We ended up using all 3 of my horses.

I love this picture of me walking Clue to be loaded on the trailer.

She was a good girl with loading... only backed out once.

My kinda way to spend the day
