Ducky's been here 1 week...

I did not know HOW FAST DUCKLINGS grow!

To this... in 1 week! Its crazy!!!

* ps we are going to get Ducky 5 friends TOMORROW :)

You think you know what kind it is yet? Glad to hear you are getting some buddies for it. The wild ducks that come to our pond have gotten accustomed to being fed everytime I feed the chickens..Lol They come really close but are reluctant to eat outta my hand. Gotta get some pics next time I go out...its just so HOT out there

Alittle about Our little Farm...

We got our 1st chickies Spring 09, 26 Buff Orpingtons... and thats all it took to get me hooked and turned me into The Crazy Chicken, Guinea, Duck, Cat, Pig, Goat and now Horse Lady, lol.

I have backyard chickens, guineas, Pekin ducks. We had a potbelly pig princess porkchop, she lives on my friends farm now. Got my 1st goats summer 2011, I have 2 Nubian/Kinder Does, 2 Nubian Bucks. I got my very 1st horse Dec. 6, 2012... I know have 2 horses and a foal... Flicka (mare), Clue (mare) & Fiona (Filly, almost 2) and Meg (the mini).

I sell my eggs when I can, I also sell chicks, duckings, sometimes older hens, roosters, ducks, goat kids. Its really nice when the animals make enough money to pay for their own feed. I also make and sell crocheted items to help pay for feed... check out Crochet By Jen on facebook.

I ♥ going out collecting eggs and watching my barnyard animals, its very peaceful. It does wonders for the soul :)

I hope to add more animals though the years...
