"So Whatcha In For?"I've had sooo many broodies again this year... right now I have 10, so I decided to break 4 of em. I have 3 bantams sittin on a nest of 5 bantam eggs, Mabel sittin on a nest of 4 eggs & a broody in my big coop that I plan on givin her some silkie eggs I've been collecting this week.

ReplyDeleteNever heard of broodie jail, but you do what you gotta do I guess. I have just one to deal with, and I just shut her out of the nest for a few hours every evening. Mostly because I worry about how hot it is. I am surprised she just doesn't keep sitting on nothing. I will keep this in mind.
