All my ducks are doing great, the ducklings (well they arent ducklings anymore, I guess they are teenagers), they turned 3 months on the 12. I've got the 4 down in the barnyard with 2 of my older drakes then I've got 3 a pen with 1 drake & 2 hens... I just started letting them out to free range alittle in the evenings last Thursday when I took these pics. I've had them penned for weeks now because of the garden. My hens had given me some eggs, then stopped layin again, I'm hoping they start back up soon. The duckling Scarlett produced for me this year are turning into beautiful ducks... out of the 7 it looks like I ended up with 1 boy & 6 girls, I'm very happy with that.
they are all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI can't get over the brown Muscovies. I could watch these guys all day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little ducks! You are so lucky to have six girls and one boy. My first batch of ducks was almost the opposite ratio, and that isn't good.
ReplyDeleteVery Pretty. Do they have a pond where they can swim?
ReplyDeleteHvor er de smukke.
ReplyDeleteYou're very lucky to have 6 ducks and 1 drake. We had 12 magpie ducks with 9 drakes and 6 ducks. GRRR! I love the boys though.
ReplyDeleteHave you clipped the muscovy's wings?
