Well I do believe its time to say Goodbye to my wonderful yummy goats milk for a few LONG months, lol. This is how much I've been gettin the past few days from both girls... sad, very sad. So I decided today its just not worth it, might as well dry em up, their both about 2. 5 months pregnant, due in May... so I can start milkin them again end of May beginning of June.
I've been milkin the girls for 5 months September 11 2011 was the 1st day I milked Tulip & Star... My Adventures In Goat Milkin... 
It is always sad to have to give up the milk but with that small amount, it's probably best for all of you to enjoy some time off! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is sad to lose out on the milk when you have to dry them off, but trust me girl, you are gonna be SWIMMIN in it in a few months! ;0)

ReplyDeleteIt's sad to dry them off, but great to have less work! And I love having them kid so I get milk again, but then sometimes I don't look forward to having to milk again!
