I hung outside for awhile yesterday mornin/afternoon just enjoyin the beautiful day. The warm sun shine was such a nice break to my soul... I just sat out there watching the chicken scratch the ground, porkchop munch on grass (and when she would wonder alittle to far, I'd just yell & shed come runnin for her lil treat, 1 lil piece of dry cat food, lol), I filled 2 containers with water for the ducks to play in, we moved the bantam tractor over so they could have a fresh patch of grass to peck at, collected 5 eggs yesterday. We're back to nasty gloomy rainy weather today, so I'm really glad I spend yesterday outside! Dont forget to stop by my other blog All Because 2 People Fell In Love, see whats goin on.

2 nice days & a tease of spring...
Thursday & yesterday were pretty nice & sunny. So I got to go out and spend some time with the animals. I let Porkchop out to root in the yard, she was lovin it. I keep a treat for her in my pockets so when she wonders too far all I have to do is call for her and she comes a runnin, lol.

And The News Is...
Porkchop Got Moved Outside...
Well I knew the time would come when we would have to move Porkchop out of the house and into the yard but it didnt make it any easier... I felt happy, sad, relived when we took the big step last Saturday. Now this is just her temporary pen til we can make her real pen this spring. We used a tractor pen we built for me to use with the chickens, when needed. This tractor has come in pretty handy... its been home to many chicks, hens, roosters and now a potbelly piglet.
She didnt know what to think of her new home at first...
Then she realized she has a nice cozy lil home*Its so different in the house with her outside, kinda weird after havin her in here for almost 4 months. I miss it but I know its for the better and Porkchops doing great. I was worried about how shes would do. I go out to visit her alittle durin the day. I'll call her name and she come out gruntin from under the straw, I let her out of the pen and she'll follow me around the yard, so cute. I cant wait for warmer weather to sit outside with all my barnyard animals.

My February Calendar Picture...
I made a calendar for myself this year using pictures we've taken around Our Little Farm this past year. So at the beginning of each month I'll share my pic of the month.
