Let em out to free range in it... might do this til we get the garden planted and growing so they dont eat our seeds and sprouts!

  5. Hey Jennifer,

Do you ever eat your chickens or are they for fun and eggs only?

  6. Angie, We have only ate 1 so far, a rooster last year. It was our very first processing job and homegrown chicken. We talk about doing more, we have a rooster right now that needs to go in the stew pot, all he does is flog anyone he can. Its kind of sad but I try not to think that way cause we got them to raise and eat too. Of course there are some that we wont eat, they are pets.
