If you give a goat animal crackers... Part 1

They will love you.

Do you ever read the book "If you give a mouse a cookie" to your kids, I did.  It was one of my favorites and this post of my goats and animal crackers reminds me of it.

Tulip, Star, Ringo and Boots LOVE animal crackers... Peanut and Cocoa dont even care about them or they havent gotten the chance to even try them with their pig mates hoggin em down as fast as I pull em out of my pocket.

 Animal Cracker Crumbs, lol

Can we have some more animal crackers... Pretty Please

Stop back in sometime this week to see Ringo & Peanut with their animal cracker treats

Honey built a rack for the firewood

While I sipped coffee, crocheted and

Enjoyed the fire.  The dogs hung outside with us too

Angela down for a visit

I got a nice surprise & visit from a friend... you see shes been tryin to come down to Our Little Farm for about 3 years now and this week she finally made it.  She stayed the night with us, we had a short, sweet, lovely visit.  The weather was perfect and  heres alittle how it went...

Visiting Tulip down in the barnyard

Meeting Scarlet face to face for the very first time... Angela named Scarlet a few years ago and Scarlet has a special place in her heart, I've always said Scarlet has a forever home here.

I knew I just had to fix a down home-cooked meal for Angela while she was here, she really doesnt cook (sorry girl your secrets out, lol) and I tease her all the time on facebook (and my other fb friends) with yummy pictures of the foods I cook for my family.  So I whipped up Country fried streak, real mash potatoes and homegrown green beans w/leftover homemade rolls... she was in food heaven, lol.  The for breakfast the next mornin I made her, her 1st frittata , she liked it :)

My daughter thought she was being funny (and she was)... she set these moves for Angela and I to watch out on the couch since we were having a slumber party. She was makin fun of us, lol.  Hey no matter how old you are, your never to too for a slumber party!

I think this was her favorite part... feedin Scarlet and her 2 sons some treats (bread).

I got a feelin now that shes been here and loves it, she'll be back very soon, lol
Til next visit.............
