WoW... Thats A Huge Egg!

Went out and collected eggs on Sunday Nov. 28 and I found this jumbo egg! Its 3 1/2 inches from one end to the other and 6 inches round. I seen the hen that laid it, she is my BO broody momma from August that hatched out chicks... this is the 1st time shes laid since she went broody, her chicks have just now stopped following her around.

Guess this is what happens when a hen doesnt lay an egg for over 3 months, shes gotta get back into the groove of things.

* I got another huge egg the other day, I blew it out and plan on makin a Christmas ornament out of it... Been gettin 3-5 eggs a day.

Good Mornin From The Barnyard...

It seems there is always something to blog about with Our Little Farm lately... really hope ya'll enjoy them. I wasnt gonna post today but I couldnt resist when I opened the back door to go feed the animals this mornin and saw this...
