Are On Their Way...
So get your feeders ready! I go here to
track the hummers. They should be in my area April 1-15, I put my feeders out early cause you never know... I love watching the hummingbirds and have 4 hummer stations in my yard, so where every I am I can see them, lol. They are just so cute. Now we only get the Ruby-Throated Hummingbird in our area. Heres acouple pictures I've taken through the years... I have alot more but these are SOME of my favorites.

I mix up 1 part sugar to 4 parts water, fill my feeders then put the rest in the fridge. I've done ALOT of research through the years on feeding hummers... I use to boil the sugar water, but you dont have to and you should not add anything else too it! Also make sure you clean your feeders every couple of days or weekly. Feeding hummers is alot of work but so worth the enjoyment of seeing them up close and personal... I would miss them so much if they didnt visit my yard! Summer just wouldnt be the same...
Hehe...I picked up a bottle of hummingbird food yesterday when I was at wal-mart...Lol
ReplyDeleteGREAT SHOTS of the hummers..I have 2 feeders that I put out...I was tempted to buy a couple more yesterday..they have some new ones out that are so pretty. But I had to pass on it ; (
Have a good day girl, My hubby will finally be home tomorrow nite...missing him so!
Thanks Trish... They do have alot of pretty feeders. I got the ones I have from Wal-Mart through the years... they are plain but very easy to keep cleaned! Enjoy your husband being back! Its different when they're away.
