This one always gets in the nest boxes... I keep watching to see if its gonna lay an egg, lol
This one has the Easter Egg puffy cheeks, I've started calling he/she Elvis, lol(I'm guessing this one is a he)

Wow, those chickies are getting big! I'd say your Nov. hatch chickens both look like roos to me. :-( The one in the nest box *might* be a hen, but it looks like they're both getting pointy saddle feathers. Shucks!

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking they both are roos too :( I'm just really hoping the one in the nest box is a girl. I'm startin to know what to look for as they get older, but sometimes its hard to tell til they lay an egg or start crowing (like Mr. Big Stuff did).
Hope you get lots of hens from this batch of chicks. Your chickens are such a pretty red color. Would be nice if at least one of them was a hen. The one in the nest box looks like it has a round body like my hens. Hope so.
