Our Farm Animals In The Snow...

I let the Chickens out to do some free ranging yesterday... it was so pretty with the snow and sunshine I had to take some pictures. Sorry ya'll but this post is picture heavy I just loved all the pics. I took and couldnt just pick a few... lol. Ya'll know I get picture takin happy!

Its only 10 degrees here this mornin but the sun is shinning...

    Love all the pics..ecspecially the rooster shadow you captured. Again. 10 degrees! I just cant get ova that! I was freezing last nite when I went outside and it was 39. I got 11 eggs yesterday, but a few didnt quite make it inside, I posted about it.
    10 degrees!!!! Lol, stay warm girl!

  3. So glad you are getting eggs! I love the pic of the rooster shadow as well, that would make a really lovely print. Your guinea looks like a grumpy old man! LOL!

    It's cold here this morning as well, but not quite that cold!

  5. Thanks Goodwife: Yes that rooster pic. would, I didnt make and order me a 2011 calendar with different farm pics. I have taken this year, cant wait to get it! I think the guineas are so ugly there almost pretty, lol.

    Thanks Verde Farm: They are lovin this sunny weather, they are out there free ranging today. Porkchop is outside with Jinx too, shes gettin some rootin time in and lovin it! I've got 2 snow pics. of Porkchop to post later this week :)

  8. I love all your chickies!! I have 21 chickens (19 hens) and we're at around 12-15 a day in eggs. It's hard to find dang buyers!!
