I really enjoyed your photos! One day, I'm hoping, that will the scene from my back yard!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I hear your music start up (Sugarland) I want to, and sometimes do, get up and dance!
We got and are still getting some snow here as well. I don't mind it as I'd rather look at snow than mud, but it does make my hubbys workday a lot more stressful!
ReplyDeleteThank You Tina... that makes me smile about the music, turn it up and dance away :)
ReplyDeleteGoodwife, ya I would rather have snow than mud... mud will be next though :(
Ugh, I know and I dread it! My backyard is pretty much a slop hole.........as soon as it starts to warm up my kitchen floor will be a disaster. I'm just trying hard not to think about it this year! LOL
ReplyDeleteLOL Jen... if the snow was gone there'd be mud.. yuck!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of your ducks!!! (whinin' "I want me some")
Goodwife: I'm tryin not to think about it either, yet.
ReplyDeleteSunny: Thank You... you need some ducks :)
Oh what great shots!! I would love to have my own lil' chicks!
ReplyDeleteThe snow started back up today and our yard is a muddy mess, too.
Thank You Floweringmama
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteLove the chic pics ... I'll stop back later to see the snowman ... And yes, you do have one smart rooster ... we had a little banty rooster that would do the same thing ... they are great at finding food.
stay warm!

ReplyDeleteThey certainly look like they are enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteThank You Teri, Kattiegirl and Potterwatch's Peeps
ReplyDeleteI love the scenery in your backyard. The chickens are so fluffy and beautiful and your ducks are gorgeous. I love the muscovy ducks too. We have 10 hatch today--it’s 10 degrees here-not a good day for the babies but hopefully they will be warm under mommy!
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty. I was hoping we would get snow but I don't think we will. It is sleeting a little now.
ReplyDeleteThank You Verde Farm and Becky's Barnyard... callin for 1-3 inches tonight, we will see.
ReplyDeleteVF: You need to do a post on your new ducklings, I bet they are so stinkin cute, yes hope momma duck keeps them warm! I hope mine hatch out some this spring, I only have 2 girls.
What a wonderful visit to your back yard with the pictures! My grandmother and mother both raised chckens when I was a kid. I think they're an important part of a farm/homestead! Thanks for sharing!
