Fiona: Come on girl

Before I started supper yesterday I went out and sat on a bench in Fiona's area... I called to her & whistled... she peeked her head around the corner of the goat house, looked at me and started walking over, came up sniffed my hand and stood there.  Then I got up and started walking around... she followed me.  I  just thought that was pretty cool.  I love this lil filly, so happy shes mine.

 Here she comes

 Sniffing my hand

Poor Flicka and Clue I bet there wondering if I'm giving Fiona treats... I not giving her food treats, just treats of love and attention right now.

 Here shes is following me

I'm sitting on a big rock down in the barnyard while shes munching on some grass

Fiona: Bigger Area

Fiona has been here 3 days now and we have been spending lots of time with her... I had her in a little pen until today, I decided to block off one side of the barnyard and let it be her area for a few days, a week or longer before adding her in with Flicka & Clue.  Now she has room to walk, run and play. The chicken, guineas, ducks, farm kitties are keeping her company.  She can hang out by Ringo and Silo's buck pen.  She can also meet Flicka and Clue over the fence.  I've had her out walking the yard today & brushing her.

My daughter and I stayed with her for awhile just to make sure things were gonna go good.

This is where I'll be hanging out later

Playing in the river

Rode down to the river today and played.  So much fun.
First time I've been in water this deep on the back of a horse. I loved it!

Fiona

Most of you on my facebook page already know about my new little filly Fiona and that I have been spending time working with her on and off for a few weeks now and that she will be coming to my farm soon.  Heres a few pictures I took of her yesterday while I had her out in my friends yard... I'm sure I will be posting lots of Fiona updates and pictures.

I took her for a short walk

I wanted to see if she would walk over that dirt hill...

She did it with alittle encouragement.
We walked over it a few times just to make sure.

Buck Stare Down

As I was sitting down in the barnyard yesterday evening waiting for the duck pool to fill back up... The Stinky Boys (Ringo and Silo) came over and put on a show for me... They were so silly, pushing, shoving, jumping up, ears flying, ramming heads... having themselves a good ol time.  Silo was tryin to mate Ringo.  Then they would come over and want me to love on them.  I love my bucks, they really are sweet boys.
Ringo is 2 years old and Silo is 1 years old

A ride with Dallas...

Yesterday while at RaiderHollow Farm I played around & rode a sweet gelding named Dallas.  I took him out in the pasture just to see how well we would do and how he would listen to me... we did great.  I like Dallas, hes gonna be a wonderful horse for someone. Dallas only has one eye but he doesnt let that stop him.  Hes a good boy. If your interested in Dallas visit his album H-E-R-E

Dallas & I did great together... I will ride him again
