Its so nice here in Kentucky today... its almost 50 degrees! Gonna be nice tomorrow too. I've been in and out hangin with the animals all mornin just enjoyin the day. The husband is watchin the game then we are takin our youngest son out for his birthday date night. There will be a post on all that later on my All Because 2 People Fell In Love blog. I've got more pictures to post but those will be for tomorrow.

Farm Friend Friday...Our Muscovies

We just love em... They are really friendly and they will be your best friend if you have some food to feed them, lol My oldest son is feedin them a slice of bread so he can pet them. We have 2 duck hens & 3 duck boys, I'm thinkin thats not a good combination but so far we've had no problems & if we do I'll just have to sell 2 of the boys I guess. The hens will be layin their very 1st eggs this spring, I cant wait! I've never had a duck egg.

Well We're Back To Snow...

And we are not happy about it! We only got 2-3 inches but thats enough to get on our nerves :)

I hung outside for awhile yesterday mornin/afternoon just enjoyin the beautiful day. The warm sun shine was such a nice break to my soul... I just sat out there watching the chicken scratch the ground, porkchop munch on grass (and when she would wonder alittle to far, I'd just yell & shed come runnin for her lil treat, 1 lil piece of dry cat food, lol), I filled 2 containers with water for the ducks to play in, we moved the bantam tractor over so they could have a fresh patch of grass to peck at, collected 5 eggs yesterday. We're back to nasty gloomy rainy weather today, so I'm really glad I spend yesterday outside! Dont forget to stop by my other blog All Because 2 People Fell In Love, see whats goin on.

2 nice days & a tease of spring...

Thursday & yesterday were pretty nice & sunny. So I got to go out and spend some time with the animals. I let Porkchop out to root in the yard, she was lovin it. I keep a treat for her in my pockets so when she wonders too far all I have to do is call for her and she comes a runnin, lol.
