See my Life is not always perfect, lol

Dear World... I dont complain a lot and I have a really great life that I love but at times it gets really stressful and I dont talk about that much mostly I'm a go with the flow, think happy thoughts kinda girl.... Butterflies and Rainbows.  Not today........ well not right at this moment.  I was out doin barnyard chores when my honey walks out and says... our 15 yr old son is kicked off the bus for 5 days..... for smoking.  What The?!?!?  We dont allow our 15 yr. old son to smoke and he knows this.  He played with fire and just got burned... we try to teach out kids ‎ ALL decisions made in life have consequences...it's up to you to decide what consequences are worth living with. So since he decided to smoke on the bus and got busted... he not only hurt himself he hurt me........ I'm the one who has to drive him to school and pick him up for the next 5 days and this really ticks me off because there is no reason I should have to drive him to school when a perfectly good bus rides by our house... the school is about 15 minutes away.  My son does not realize yet that he just made my life sooooo much harder I already have to drive my brother (who lives with us) back and forth to his appointment/school and my daughter back and forth to work and she does not have set hours... they are all over the place so now I have to juggle all 3 of their driving needs, barnyard chores, house chores, my life...... ooo this is gonna be fun.

Ps.  Hes grounded from his phone, computer, house phone, goin places or having friends over.

Was it worth it?  I think not.

Pss... If your a praying person... please say a short prayer for me and my family this morning we have to deal with a problem I'm not even gonna go there & talk about... it will be involving a court date, God knows what it is and its all in his hands.

Psss... I love my son with all my heart (his older sister and younger brother too) and of course only want the best life for him.  Hes a good boy that just does stupid things... Hes learning life...... the hard way.

Thank ya.

My Silkies...

I got this pair of Silkies in June 2011.  Heres their lil story: A new pair of silkies.  I've tried to hatch out chicks from them through the years but to me Silkie eggs are hard to hatch, I've never had much luck... I have hatch out a few mutt Silkies this past year, sold the last one that hatched it was a pretty young chick. The lil hen went broody in July so on the 29th I gave her 5 eggs (eggs from her & my Silver Polish), on Aug. 18 two of the five eggs hatched (other 3 egg didnt hatch)... they are not pure, I do plan on separating my Silkie Rooster & Hen and hatching out pure chicks one of these days... until then I'll hatch out cute mutts.

I think its mad at momma, lol

Ringo & Peanut... Free Ranging

Life is still so busy here on Our Little Farm... garden is still goin great, human boys are back in school, daughter got a job that I take her to and pick her up from every day, brother has appointments that I take him to... I've got a  table full of tomatoes that need to be processes, then tomorrow I'm goin to a friends house to pick grapes to make jelly with but I want to stop in real fast and post about the boys... Ringo & Peanut.  You all know they have their own Buck House and lil yard to hang out in... they dont have a fenced in yard to munch in so I've started tying them off for a few hours in the main yard everyday and they are loving it, usually I'm out there with them the whole time or I might run in the house to do something real fast cause I do have to untangle them from time to time... but til I get a fenced off munching area this works for now :)

Ringo is 8 months old & Peanut is 5 months old

Happy Goats :)

The Buck House...

Honey was on vacation this week so we got a lot of stuff done in the barnyard that has needed to be done for while now. One of the things that got done was the Buck House for Ringo & Peanut, we covered it with cedar slabs, it looks so great and smells good too.
This bundle of cedar slabs was just $20.00

We put a window in the back and on one of the sides... we'll cover it for winter.  I love peeking in the window to see what the boys are doin, lol.

  One side

The other side

The front

 The back... I love it!
My honey even made a cute lil flower box for the window

Inside... they have plenty of room.  We do still need to cover some of the bigger cracks.

 The boys are happy :)

One of these days I'll have some of the main yard fenced off for their munching area... but for now Ijust let them out everyday while I'm out there giving everyone fresh water, then when I'm done I'll sit under the shade of a tree and watch the boys munch a bit longer before I walk then back to their pen... takin time to stop & smell the roses  goat poop, lol
