Planted our beet garden yesterday...
2795 beet seeds (give or take a few) and we are plantin more today! I forgot what my garden workout felt like until I started doing all the squatting yesterday, my legs are feelin it today!

We soak em in water for about an hour

I hope they all grow! I need to start my garden i want to plant a few carrots for my bunnys and a few radishes for me : )

ReplyDeleteI don't remember eating fresh beets only pickled beets. They are good! I always wanted to try beet soup but haven't yet. Love the red color of beets. I'll have to remember to add beets to my list of things to plant if I ever get my planter beds made. I have a horrible feeling the beds may turn out to be planter beds for next year. Looks like you are going to have a ton of beets!
