My sweet hen Nutmeg, I hatched her out in March. She likes to fly up on me whenever she feels like it, lol
Ginger... also hatched out in March. Ginger and Nutmeg are hatch mates and 2 of my favorite girls. They are both sweet, sometimes they will sit with me and they let me pet them. I guess they are so friendly cause they are 2 of the 3 chicken I kept from March, so they got alot of attention.
Shes so pretty and soft.
One of our mutt bantam roosters I hatched out in June (I think) he came and sat on my arm while I was watching everyone... Thinkin I might name him Lee Roy
Chipmunk and her chickies... they are almost as big as her now.
I think the whitish one is a boy

Still waiting to see if Ducky is a he or a she, I have no idea how old Ducky is. Dont see a drake feather... yet.

Such beautiful birds!! We have bought into the addictive world of chickens as well. Love, love, love their curiosity, and sweet personalities. Hand raising them is so rewarding, they are smart, gentle creatures for sure. Enjoy your day and thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures!

ReplyDeleteOh what pretty birds you have. You have muscovy ducks too. We have had them for a couple of years now and we LOVE them. They are so pretty. Beautiful pictures :)

Thank You Amy... we do love having the muscovies, they will be a permanent farm animal here, I love watching them waddle around the yard.
