Ringo is doin great...

Hope yall aint sick of seeing Ringo updates or pics. I've got some videos I wanna share but dont know how. I've uploaded one of em to youtube.

I love the fact I can give my teenagers memories like these that they can cherish a lifetime.

I just love his ears & he loves a good neck rub.

Hes so sweet & such alittle joy to have around... I still cant believe I have a baby goat runnin through my house! Never would have thought that 5 years ago, lol. Ringo is a prefect lil goat... he sleeps all night for me in his box in my room with a blanket over the top (cause when he wants too he can jump out), he usually goes to bed around 8:30-9:00 & we get up at 5:00. Hes drinkin 9-10 oz. bottles now about 4 times a day. Its been so nice here since hes been born that I'm able to take him outside to play lots of times a day (I wear him out, so he'll nap & rest when he comes back in, lol), he follows me all over the yard, runs, twist, jumps... nibbles grass & leaves... then I'll sit on the ground & he'll come snuggle in my lap... then we both sit there for a minute soakin up the sun. I've tough him when I put him in his box & put the blanket over the top its nap/rest time, its so cute. I also learned how to put a diaper on him for when hes running through the house... this mornin while cookin breakfast I just loved hearin his hooves running on the kitchen floor, then he would come stand between my legs, lol. Hes sleepin right now so I guess I'd better go do some chores... talk to ya soon.

In the kitchen with Ringo today...

So we decided to name baby boy goat... Ringo. Kay picked his name out. Ringo is doin great, hes a strong, playful lil guy, hes eatin, sleepin, goin to the bathroom good. I moved his box to the kitchen so he could hang out with me while I...

...made/baked bread & brownies...

...and Ringo did this...

...So Sweet...

Took Ringo outside for a bit to burn off some of that baby goat energy...

Look who I found in his bed when I came back in, lol

Then they both took a nap together... aint that so sweet

Update on lil boy...

First I'd like to say Thank You for all your comments on yesterdays post, I've read them just havent had time to respond to them, sorry... I've been alittle busy with this cutie

To make a long story short... The neighbor & I felt if we left the baby with the momma last night we would find it dead this mornin. Its poor lil ears where already startin to freeze. The Neighbor asked me if I wanted the baby to take care of... well I wasnt gonna say no. To read more & catch up you can visit my facebook page we've been talkin about it all night & day... Our Little Farm. Thanks & now I just hope I do everything right. Lil Boy is doin good, I've been milkin out momma goat & bottle feeding him. Keep ya posted.

Baby Boy Goat...

* The momma goat wants nothing to do with the baby after it came out of her. She will sniff it & then jump back from it. She wont let it by her. She wont feed it when it does get a chance to get by her. My neighbor had to hold the momma still so I could get the baby up to her teats to eat... the poor lil thing wanted to eat but she didnt want it to. Why?

Tulip was bred on Dec. 11, 2010. She is due to kid May 4 (146th day) - May 8 (150 day). The beginning of each month I'll take pics of her, so you can watch her grow, kid & mother her kids... This is gonna be exciting. This is all new to me so I'm learning as I go. If you have any advice you think I need to know, please feel free to share :)
